A Different Practice Profile

Additional practice profile characteristics...

• On-site lab:  Every affiliated practice has it’s own on-site lab that serves only that practice.  This provides for efficient and timely fabrication of dentures.  It is also helpful to have a lab manager a few feet away that can immediately address any denture concerns you or the patient may have.
• Same day service: The on-site lab permits the same day delivery of dentures for most patients that arrive at opening time. This is a key benefit for patients that have travelled large distances (40 miles is the average travel distance).
• No appointment necessary:  While this is different from other traditional dentistry practices, patients are informed they can arrive any day Monday through Friday, preferably at opening time... and they will all be seen according to established service time guidelines.  It is very efficient... we’d be glad to show you!
• Fee for service:  Practices only accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and checks with valid I.D.  Full payment is expected the day the services are provided.  Dental walkout statements are provided to patients who would like to submit claims directly to their insurance carrier. 
• Insurance by assignment:  Insurance assignment is generally not accepted in the majority of affiliated practices.  However, regional characteristics and local market conditions may cause a Practice Owner to consider insurance by assignment as a growth opportunity.  Affordable Care will help support a practice's desire to move in that direction. 
• Medicaid:  Over the years electronic filing technology has improved and many Practice Owners have sucessfully added Medicaid to their practices.  In States where dentures and/or extractions are covered, reimbursement issues from the past are no longer a deterrent.
